I'm not very sure does PNGGauntlet have a help system, but pressing F1 or Help->Contents(F1) doesn't work. I have Win2000 sp4.
Just wanted to know what the "brute force compression" mean.
I do understand what the "brute" and "compression" mean, but what "technically" you mean by that. The program will stop optimizing the file at some "satisfactory" point?
A Help system?

Hmm. I've never tried PNGGauntlet on Win2000, but on my WinXP box, Help does work. You can find the help file in the program's installation directory (it's the .chm file).Posted 5 years ago #

Sorry, it was some kind of bug, yesterday I downloaded the newer version installed it and have some testing to see how new version works.
But when I tried to look into the help system - it wasn't working.
But today I run without a problem! F1 or Help->Contents - both working!
Thanks for your newer version that include latest PNGOut - it reallly rockks now :)Posted 5 years ago # -

One personal interest: do you hold just-a-box site just-to-have-a-box, or you want to add some content to it?
If no, you could probably add a page from the french story "Little Prince". Not just-a-box, but the box with a sheep in it (If you know the story, you'll understand what I mean and where is the trick X-D).Posted 5 years ago # -
just-a-box may be something, it may not. I like the splash page anyway.Posted 5 years ago #
