There's been some request for a feature request sticky, so here it is. A couple things (updated as I think of them):
1. I'm not going to make it work with other browsers. I love Firefox, and I hate Internet Explorer, but the alternative is just not pretty.
2. I cannot use information that I cannot get. This includes whether your clan members are online.
3. I think things like popup notifications and sounds are annoying and bloat the program. This is why my plan for XBList includes a plugin system, so that I can add these features separately from the main program.
Note that if you would like to ask me to implement a new feature, a great way to get my attention is to go to that "donate" button at http://brh.numbera.com/software/xblist/.

nice... but that donate link ^ doesn't workPosted 5 years ago #

I mistyped it, although it's just on the page you download XBList from... should be pretty obvious.Posted 5 years ago #

yeah adding plugin's is a great idea. Sounds and notification could be integrated into AIM or just a IM account (AOL, AIM, etc.)
> One request. When opening the program, it starts in a different place and different size as when it was closed. I've never seen this before in a prog., but if it's complicated no biggiePosted 5 years ago # -
It shouldn't. XBList remembers where it was when it was closed and should always start up at the same place. Does that on my machine.Posted 5 years ago #

well then i dunno what's up w/ my comp. thanks though
>>>Whoah! I just saw the Mac OSX version. I am soo jealous!!
... is it possible to get some of those features? THAT WOULD BE SWEEEET!!!!
This is similar, so no change here:

Stats in the program"

Emblem Designer!!!:

Yes, I have XBox Live Friends on my iMac. Did you not notice the link to them on the XBlist page?
The stats in the program, and the Emblem designer, are exact examples of what I don't want in XBList. You have to understand, I wrote XBList because the program I was using, XBoxFriends (www.xboxfriends.com), was too bloated and unreliable.Posted 5 years ago # -
Yes, i knew that the MAC link was on the front page. I completely understand why you wouldn't want to integrate features like this in XBList. However, the PC version of Xbox Live Friends doesn't have these complete features.
> I wouldn't want these integrated into the program. These were just suggestions for future plugins... which would only 'bloat' the XBLists of people who downloaded it (and which could obviously be uninstalled)
> So these are just suggestions. I never meant to dump all these requests on you :'( . I think u're program is AMAZING (!)Posted 5 years ago # -
Thanks for the suggestions. I do appreciate them. Just realize that I did my research as to what's available before I started work on my own Friends List programPosted 5 years ago #
