How do I change default Web Browser

When I click on a name on the list it opens in Crazy Browser. Firefox is set as my default web browser, but for some reason this and AIM both open links in Crazy Browser. How do I change that?Posted 5 years ago #

You can go to "Set Program Access and Defaults" and set Firefox as your default browser. Also, in Firefox's preferences, you can click "Check now" under "Default Browser" and it'll be det as the default browser. IIRC, you must have SP1 or better for this to work properly in all cases. If you don't have WinXP.... well, I haven't used anything older than XP in a long time. I'd suggest searching Google for "Firefox default browser".
Signing in to Passport for XBList must still be done through Internet Explorer, so that XBList can use the saved authentication cookies from IE (don't worry, it doesn't read them at all). If you're lucky though, XBlist manual sign-in should be the only thing you need IE for, and even then only once.Posted 5 years ago # -

Time for that Google search, then. I'm a Firefox user and advocate, not a dev. All non-Passport-sign-in URLs load in FF for me, as well as Trillian/AIM links and email links from Outlook Express and everything else.
One thing I just though of - if you open an Explorer window (like My Computer) and go to Folder Options, and then File Types, and check out the "URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol" and make sure it's set to open in Firefox.Posted 5 years ago #
