Looks like the multi-notification bug that was in XBList 3.1.2698.549 is also in XBList 3.1.2734.38862 (the latest version as of this post).
To reproduce:
1 - Right-click on a friend
2 - Click "Remove Friend"
3 - You'll get about 7 or 8 of the following message boxes:

You have removed Equinox NL from your friends list. This may not be immediately reflected on the site.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
